Inspirational Song of the Day 2/19
Free Will
I tried my best to explain my position over and over again, but that only led me to be accused of talking in circles, changing subjects and suffering from mental gymnastics. I still feel that I did none of that. But on this post, I'm going to try one last time to clarify my position and my position only.
The Bible mentions in it's own way many times over where we have free will. It mentions where we can decide and we can choose what we want and where we want to go. This obviously means to me that our choices are free. We can alter our course in life and change directions. We are not obligated or pre-ordained to go down only one path. We have the ability to move from one path to the other.
Now, how do I reconcile this with an all knowing, all powerful God? Because if our choices are free, then an all knowing God isn't all knowing. But this is where my reconciliation begins, not ends.
I believe that God saw me make every choice. And saw where those choices led before they were made. When I make my choice, it cancels out that domino path. The knowledge God has of the choice I didn't make goes away and he continues to see further down the road pertaining to the path I'm on, and so on and so on.
Does he know the choice I make at the time I make it. No, he witnesses it. But to his Knowledge which is not our knowledge, he saw for certainty me making both choices. He saw for certainty both realities and both lives unfold.
People that disagree with me want to paint God as a human. They want him to have some sort of motivation for doing this. They want this to somehow limit Him. According to them, He has no prediction powers then. He sees no certainty.
I argue this is false. He sees multiple certainties. God and us the individual are a personal relationship and that's the way it's intended. God has left the Holy Spirit here to guide us and help us if we so choose. Since God knows every choice we will face for certain, every multiple choice we make for certain and the results of all the choices made for certain, the Holy Spirit can be exact with us. He can tell us everything we need to know about what faces us, what we should do, and what will happen if we listen to Him.
That is your prediction power. And through this system He has created, he has given us, by His decision, free will. But, He can help us with our decisions because He knows everything. And that knowledge He does know cannot be comprehended totally. Because you try to imagine knowing multiple realities and all these little decisions and affect of all the little decisions made, and you can't think it through. You get stuck. It seems illogical and unreasonable. Well, we're not God. We can't ever comprehend the kind of knowledge the Supreme Being has.
And that's all I will say about this.

Faith Isn't Easy
Prove God. The believer has to prove to the non believer. Not the other way around. As a believer, the non believer requires us to prove to them that what we believe is more possible than what they don't believe. This is impossible. This cannot be done, and this is why Christians as an example turn extremely volatile and ignorant in debates and conversations with a non believer.
An individual must prove God to themselves. An individual can get lucky and receive an experience without asking for one such as I. When you get these experiences, you cannot deny what you have experienced. In my case, I know for a fact I was reached by the Supreme Being(God). I was not down in my luck, guilty or in a remorseful state. After this experience, all signs pointed to reading and studying the Bible AND many other inspired works.
Once I got into the Bible, by faith and belief, I became a Christian. I experimented and practiced what is taught. I have a firm 100% belief in what I have chosen to be true. But I could never ever prove this to be the one true way to live to a person who is not a Christian. In my experience, living by example and showing a true interest in understanding my neighbor has been beneficial in peaking their curiosity into who I am and what I believe spiritually. At that point, I'm not discussing why I'm right and why they are wrong. Those points are irrelevant to me. All I can do is simply discuss what I believe, how I perceive what is taught to me and why I feel it's necessary. "Necessary" is the word.
But if it's not brought up, it's not mentioned. Because this isn't a race to convert. That is a dangerous game. There is so many stated Christians who I feel are getting the entire message wrong. They are converting and taking advantage of others and are giving them the wrong teachings. We must first realize what is going on within our own faith and fix it before we can go out and spread the word. And let me tell you, we got thousands of years to fix. It has manifested along with political agendas to the point of serious problems. We must witness to other believers and get them on the right spiritual path before we do anything else.
It's not easy, and it never will be. But we have to spread the good news to those who already think they got good news. A very difficult task. But a task that is worth it. It can be done.

43%!
Truly sad.
Is It Happening?
"The amount of taxes the federal government took in from the manufacturers of all firearms and ammunition in the fourth quarter of 2008, the period between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, increased 31 percent over the same time period reported in 2007. That's from the most recent Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax Collection Report released earlier this month by the Department of the Treasury. The average increase from 2007 in the previous three quarters of 2008 was 9.7 percent."
"Demand for ammunition, across caliber lines, is outpacing supply. In order to keep up with demand, manufacturers are working at full capacity, 24 hours a day, seven days a week," said Ted Novin, the director of public affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation."
Now that is downright scary. Again, this is the information age. Too much access to anything you want at any time. Easier to get across any message, so naturally hate, paranoia and fear can be spread in a split second to the paranoid, hateful and fearful.
And remember, we still got 3 and half years left for the Black President. I'm worried.

Palin Kickin' Ass in Hong Kong
Some money quotes:
"Two US delegates left early, according to AFP, with one saying "it was awful, we couldn't stand it any longer." He declined to be identified."
"Palin spoke out against government intervention in the economy. "We got into this mess because of government interference in the first place," Palin said, according to the Wall Street Journal. "We're not interested in government fixes, we're interested in freedom," she added."
I believe the fact that there was absolutely zero regulation on the markets is the reason our economy ended up this way. But she is a Kristol clone. Facts don't matter.
Oh here is a good one:
"She claimed that if taxes were cut and the capital gains tax and estate tax eliminated, the world would "watch the U.S. economy roar back to life."
Does she know that there are two wars going on that actually cost money?
More feedback:
"As fund managers we want to hear about the United States as a whole, not just about Alaska," one told AFP. "And she criticized Obama a lot but offered no solutions."
She also took some good cheap shots at China. You know, the one Country that can and will destroy us whenever they see fit.
I hope she runs in 2012. I really do.
Roy Blunt Being Blunt
Family Research Council head Tony Perkins gave him this introduction:
"He is now the second highest ranking Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which is a very important committee on the health care issue,"
And as he spoke to the White Audience of 2000, he gave them an analogy about how the GOP members is comparable to the lot of imperial British agents in India who had to deal with monkeys running amok on a golf course that the colonial occupiers had carved out of the verdant Indian jungle. There was a problem, he said; monkeys would come out of the jungle, grab golf balls, and throw them about. Amidst gradual laughter, he stated:
"I could go into great and long detail about how many things they did to try and eliminate the 'monkey problem.' But they never got it done, so finally this golf course and this golf course only, they passed a rule and the rule was - you have to play the ball where the monkey throws it. [audience laughter swells] And that is the rule in Washington all the time."
The audience according to the article, ate it up. Loved it. Made a lot of sense to them. Missouri, even though has a growing Democratic base, still has a huge base of scary institutionalized crazies. Remember that documentary "Jesus Camp"? I do.

Beck
*beck v. trans. beck-ing, beck-ed, to be baselessly attacked by an idiot with a megaphone, then have those accusations alter your life for the worse because it’s politically expedient for your spineless superiors to demote or fire you.

Racism - Christianity
KKK Rallies
I think President Carter didn't consider that. These people now have an open forum. Before, they hid behind their keyboards. Now you are seeing them out in these protests. And they are calling him everything under the sun but "nigger".
They know they are being hypocritical towards "big Government". They know he's not doing 3/4th's of what he's being accused of. However, he is Black, his name is Barack Hussein Obama and he did grow up with Muslims. And because of those 3 facts, they do not care about anything else. We can go into how ludicrous they are, but until people from their side start denouncing this crap, they will not be silent.
Unfortunately, it's going to be one of these nuts that either kills him or attempts to. I fear for our President and our Country. It's only been 8 months. We are in for a troubling future.

Czar's
So many problems with this. First, Romney supported the bailouts. Secondly, there isn't any Government take over of Health care. It's called an "option". Choice is a good thing. Choice is what makes us Americans.
And lastly, let's talk about Czar's. Obama has 34 of them. Bush had 46 of them. Do I need to say anything else? Do my institutional brainwashed brethren know this?
Torture?
Baucus Plan is Insulting
But then I remembered that the insurance industry has donated $3 Million to him, and it makes sense. And then I found out that a person who recently signed onto his staff wrote the bill and that person just left Well Point insurance, and it made even more sense.
To get a true Health Bill, we actually need someone not tainted. And I'm not sure if there is anyone that isn't.
What bugs me more, is that the overwhelming majority of Christians in this Country support "for profit" heath insurance which in my mind is against everything Christ teaches. They have substituted "Nationalism" and "Corporations" in place of God.
What a shame.
In our Country, Health Insurance is a right for the Wealthy and a privilege for the poor. Health coverage should never cost a dime. No matter what Country it is, they should cover their citizens. If you have a "for profit" Health industry, people will have their care dropped, and people will become bankrupt. Just like 62% of all bankruptcies in the U.S. last year.

8 Months Later
You know where they were? They were supporting it. After all, he was one of them. He was a middle aged White fundamentalist Christian. He was going after the Muslims. He was torturing his perceived enemies. He was protecting this "Christian" nation.
Then, a Black man, and a liberal to boot became the Leader of this nation. He's been called a socialist, marxist, fascist, muslim, racist and on and on. I've never seen such a thing. With all these protests, you'd think that He was the one that put us in the hole we're in. You'd think that he was the one that bankrupted us 30 years ago, sold arms to Iran, imported illegal drugs from South America, and took away all regulations to corporations. You'd think he was the one that advocated in favor of Corporations deserving the same constitutional rights as individuals.
In 1971, Louis Powell figured out that Institutionalized Religious folks in the midwest and south could be easily manipulated into voting against their best interests. All they had to do, was make them believe that an ideology was created for them and anyone with a "left thinking mentality" was immoral, evil and out to get them. Also, to make them feel as though Corporations were their saviors. His memo and practice of it started the process and as you see now has made most Christians to be nationalistic, idol worshippers.
The Glenn Becks, Sean Hannity's and Rush Limbaughs are all part of this philosophy. And they are damn good at what they do. They prey on peoples fears and bigotry. And these people end up supporting evilness.
When will they learn?

How To Read The Bible
I'm not going to tell you how to understand the Bible, because everyone is different. But learning to read it correctly is where it all starts out.
We must first understand a few things before I continue. Each version of the Bible is biased to a certain degree pertaining to the Religion that interprets that version. I would say all versions of the translated Bibles are about 85-95% accurate. We also must realize that there are several words and phrases that simply can't be translated and what you do see translated are guesses at best. They are assumptions on trying to tell us what the interpreters think the authors are trying to say.
It is of my opinion, that the closest to correct translation comes from the Johova Witness Bible: New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures and Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures. Until I learn and master the NT Greek Language, these babies get you real close. Yes, there are biases in this Bible just like any of the others. But this one gets you to around 95% accuracy, and the KIT gives you word for word translation without context variances.
Okay, we've got that out of the way. How are we supposed to read the Bible? Well, the Bible as you see it now, was constructed by men to make it easy to read. They constructed it like a book. That's how we've learned since childhood. But there is a problem with this in regards to the Bible. The Bible isn't a book in the way we interpret "books". Yes, it has stories in it. Yes it has themes, climaxes and plots. However, the main purpose of the Bible, is to go over "subjects". As many subjects as possible that pertain to our human existence. All the things we as humans will encounter, the Bible gives us examples of how others have felt what we've felt and how they dealt with it.
But the main purpose of the Bible is to teach us the story of Jesus Christ and what he taught.
The Bible is one big cross reference, and it should be read as such. With the internet available to us now, this makes a huge impact in our learning of how to read the Bible. Verses are connected to one another throughout. One subject has tons a verses connected to it, and these verses are not in the same spot. They are spread out through different books. Yes, some stories are to be read in whole, but for the most part, you should read verses. Read it verse by verse. Connect the verses associated with one another. Hey, it wasn't my idea to construct the Bible the way it's constructed now. Like I said, each of us has to do the leg work.
It is assumed that the Authors were Godly inspired in their writings. Even though various scriptures were constructed in different era's doesn't mean they're not connected. They are connected. They were inspired, but of course this is my belief.
Understanding what you're reading comes from the Holy Spirit that is within each of us. Without Him, you cannot understand. Taking the Bible as literal all the way is a mistake. Taking the meanings of the verses as literal is correct. That's the difference.
Any questions, feel free to ask. I'll do my best.

What The Bible Doesn't Say
In a lot of other cases, certain Institutions have celebrated their ignorance of what the Bible doesn't say and had the audacity to make their own additional documents, letters and added teachings all off of their assumptions of what isn't written. Amazing.
Unfortunately, all institutions have followers. These followers do not know better in most cases. They know about Jesus and so forth, and then learn what is taught to them. Everyone around them believe in those teachings, and they do too. Why be an outcast when you can be part of a dominant clique? It's a classic case of peer pressure. I call it "Religious Peer Pressure". They certainly don't do the leg work, and if they did, they would leave the institutions. I have no doubts about it. Once the Holy Spirit makes Himself known to you and guides you, there is no looking back. Scripture becomes understood, and the true teachings take shape in your life. You start to understand that Institutionalized Christianity is following the Open Gate.
Let me tell you about what the Bible doesn't say.
It doesn't tell you about Gay Marriage.
It doesn't even tell you about Homosexuality. After all, "homosexuality" wasn't even coined until the 19th century.
It doesn't tell you about Abortion on a Political Scale
It doesn't tell you about Science nor modern Medicine.
It doesn't tell you about Muslims.
There will be another post on how to read the Bible. Also there will be more posts on these very subjects, and we can dissect what the Bible does say.
Christian followers, I know that you Love Jesus, at least the Jesus you were taught. However, you are far off on what exactly Jesus Taught, and you are even further off of what Scripture says and how it was said. There is a lot for you to learn. But it starts with you, and it will end with you too.

Presidential Debate: Round 3
There were two instances in the debate that stuck out to me and showed Obama as the superior as he has been throughout the campaign.
McCain during the debate challenged Obama and asked to recall one time when he went against his party since he's been a Senator in his short term. Obama mentioned 5 instances. That was the end of that challenge and dialog. Another time later, McCain asked Obama to tell Joe the Plumber how much of a fine he would pay. Obama looked into the camera, and told Joe ....."Zero". That was the end of that too. All McCain could do was roll his eyes.
Obama's policies while not all are perfect, at least are laid out to be understood. McCain still has not offered up anything stable and consistent of what he proposes. What does he propose?
The temperament between the two are distinctly different. Does anything phase Obama? Anything? His calmness and level headedness is remarkable. He's always in control. I also feel that if we are lucky enough to have him as President, we will finally have someone with not only a Brilliant mind, but a wonderful heart.
Do I even need to get into the Christian aspect of this debate? Same as the previous two. One showed complete resentment and hatred of the other. The other one was cordial and personal.

"Muslim/Arab" Is The Replacement For N****r
It's unacceptable for a White person or any other person to call someone of color the "N" word. But now, it's completely acceptable to not only call someone a "Muslim" or "Arab" in a bad way, but be openly prejudiced towards one. It's okay to call them the enemy. This is a major problem that is beginning to show itself and it's coming mostly from Institutionalized Christians and their communities.
A lot of people will say, "can you blame us after what happened on 9/11?". Yes, I blame you and your teachers. Since you can't go after "Niggers" anymore, you need to find another enemy to go after. Institutionalized Christians need enemies. They need them because their faith isn't strong. They really don't know anything about their faith and as a matter of fact they probably have doubts about it. Having an enemy helps them with their insecurity. The funny thing about Christianity that they don't seem to understand, is that it teaches you Security in the form of Love. Once you "get it", you don't pay attention to enemies anymore. What's the point? You've given yourself and sacrificed your inner insecurity to Love. Contrary to popular Institutionalized Christian beliefs, this is what Jesus meant when he said that he brought a sword.
What Jesus was saying, is that his Teachings about Loving God, Your neighbor and Enemies, will be a sword that destroys your inner insecurity and immorality. Your true enemy is yourself. The one you need to fear, is yourself. The one with an agenda against you, is yourself. Your immorality and actions are a product of your insecurity. If you have a problem with Muslims and Arabs, it is because you are insecure. Since you are insecure, I guess that means that you do not understand the teachings. And since we have established this fact, don't you think it's time to stop just for a second, and realize what is happening.
There are Millions of Muslim/Arab Americans in this country. They pay taxes like you . They raise their families like you. They go to ballgames like you. They worship and Love God like you. They are your Neighbor.
Do you love them?

Seriously?
"I would also pray, Lord, that your reputation is involved in all that happens between now and November, because there are millions of people around this world praying to their god — whether it's Hindu, Buddha, Allah — that his opponent wins, for a variety of reasons," [Pastor] Conrad said.
"And Lord, I pray that you would guard your own reputation, because they're going to think that their god is bigger than you, if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name with all that happens between now and Election Day."
Before I get into my thoughts on this, let me just state one fact; Barack Obama has stated that he is a Christian numerous times.
My Take:
Whether you consider him "your kind" of Christian is for you to decide, but nevertheless he is an Institutionalized Christian. But he is African American with a Muslim name. What can he say? He was born that way. I guess that means he can't be President because to the Brainwashed Institutionalized White Christians from these parts, he's the boogie man. I guess they never could fathom that this could happen. So they have to do something. Let's make stuff up about him. We can convince them, after all he's Black and has a Muslim name to boot. Should be easy.
This prayer is sickening. Imagining the thousands there bowing their heads, going along with the prayer and then giving an emphatic Amen after it makes me want to cry.
Whether they like it or not, God doesn't care who the President will be. It all comes from our free will. And whoever told them that God cares, lied to them.
And if God did care, I would sure hope that He would point out their bigoted, divisive, and shameful ways.
What is so ironic about this prayer, is that while he mentions "their God" versus the "Correct God", he himself is not praying to the "Correct God". He's praying to "his God". And "That God" isn't the God spoken about in the Bible.
This gets worse by the day.

Dangerous
These McCain/Palin townhall rally's are getting to me. It was good to see McCain defend Obama today, but it is too late. The amazing thing about it, is that when he defened him, the crowd booed. It is remarkable. We talk about bigotry and racism. We know it still exists. But this day in age, people generally keep it in there homes or with close associates. Now it's on national television for everyone to see.
The Vice Presidential Candidate and the sarrogates has incited these people and brought out their hatred on purpose. These brainwashed, bigoted, institutionalized followers were just waiting for something, anything that could unleash them. Mrs. Palin gave them what they wanted. This is the same Vice Presidential Candidate who hasn't held a press conference. Who has now been found guilty of abusing her power as Governor to settle a personal score. She has been caught in at least 12 known lies and yet none of these sorry excuse for Christians care. They see a White Lady with kids and that makes everything okay, because there is a Black Man with the name Barack Hussein Obama running for President. And she has fed them crap after crap and they eat it up. It's sad.
More importantly, this is downright dangerous. I am seriously worried about Obama. The anger shown at the campaign stops is real. This isn't for show. They do not realize nor care that the person they hate for false reasons is a Father and Husband. They are being played and they don't even know it. This is the same tactic used on them in Church on Sunday's which is part of the reason why they have a problem with a Black man with a Muslim name winning the race to the Presidentcy.
Think about that for a minute. All they see is his name and color. They already have a problem with that. Now mention "terrorist friends", "no flag pin", "secretly Muslim", "radical" and you get the reation you're seeing. They have no problems acting this way, because they generally feel they are right. Somehow in their convaluted, screwed up heads, they feel that they are patriotic because of how they are acting and feeling.
Most of these people call themselves Christians. I can't believe this.

Divide America: The McCain/Palin Strategy
I have written and warned about the dangers of Institutionalized Christianity. Many have dismissed me and most Institutionalized Christians don't like me and consider me the wolf in sheeps clothing. Institutionalized Christianity divides you especially if it's dominant in a community or State. It preaches intolerance, hatred for others, and warns you of agendas from other ideologies, political affiliations and sexual orientation. It is disgusting, and is certainly not Christianity.
Well, if any of you have been paying attention the last few days, you are seeing first hand the ugliness of Institutionalized Christianity. You are seeing and hearing the members speak for themselves in the crowds at the Republican campaign stops. McCain and Palin have now fueled the fire that has been going on since the Primaries. This is their last hope and have nothing left. Divide America and hope that their side is the majority that can propel them to the top.
What they are doing is telling these people it's okay to hate, and it's okay to assasinate. These are strong words by me and I realize this, but if you are paying attention, they are instigating the bigoted base.
This is what has been heard at the campaign stops from the crowds:
"Kill Him"
"Terrorist"
"Treason"
A local Sheriff in Florida purposely saying "Hussein" to stir up the crowd. Has Palin or McCain denounced this? Of course not. They are accussing Obama of supporting Terrorist(s) and feeding this bull crap to the brainwashed Christians. And you can bet your bottom dollar that these unbelievable statements yelled out at these rally's are from Chrsitians. It is sad, and it is getting worse.
I figured that this election would bring out everyones true colors. And it has. The Institutionalized Christian base isn't letting me down. They prove me right every day in every way. They know nothing about the Teachings of Christ. These are the same people that spread and believe the stupid email that accuses Obama of being the Anti-Christ. They say that Revelations describes the Anti-Christ as a Muslim in his middle 40's. Well let me say that a Christian that believes in Christ and His Teachings has actually read the Bible and understands it. It's called Revelation with no "S". There is no such thing as a Muslim in Scripture let alone the Anti-Christ.
They are a disgrace to his Teachings. They are a disgrace to the Faith, and they are following the Open Path. They don't know God. They don't understand the Teachings.
And people like Hannity, Limbaugh, Gibson and the idiot bloggers know these people are brainwashed and controlled. They are whores to the powers that be, and they constantly provoke this divided base.
What these people don't understand, is that if there is another Florida or Ohio instance or God forbid an assassination, they will get the division they want. And it won't be pretty.
I will do my part and constantly talk about the teachings correctly, and what it truly means to be a follower of Christianity. I can only hope that these dangerous, brainwashed, Christian jihadist's listen and eventually turn the page and come on board. I will never stop trying. It is my duty.
Presidential Debate: Round 2
As far as who showed their Christianity better, I think this isn't close either. McCain just looks downright contemptuous. He doesn't like Obama, and it shows. The reference to Obama in the language of "That One" is not going to go over well with many people. He did a little better this time in making eye contact, but he is not comfortable being around Obama.
Again, Obama was loose, genuine, and had no problems talking to or looking at McCain. The polls are already showing Obama with a huge advantage, accept for the Fox poll of course.
I will be following up with another post soon. It will be about the last few days regarding what I've seen on the Campaign trail from McCain and Palin. I'm not happy, and I need to put this into words.

True Love
When I go through troubles with my wife, I always think back to that first day we met. Of course we all go by our attraction first, and yes my wife was and still is beautiful. But what struck me that day was her sincerity, shyness and laugh. I don't believe in Love at First Sight, but what I do believe is that there is a connection at first sight. After that connection it is up to us to see where it goes. We decide what matters to us most. Is it sex? Is it conversation? Is it their looks? At that time, I didn't care for faith or a belief in God. And for the record, you don't need to have a faith in anything to have a loving and successful relationship. My belief and knowledge however tells me that our connections are put here for us. How we move forward with them is for us to decide and every decision leads us in a direction in our continued journey.
After that first day, my Wife and I talked all the time and got to know each other to the point where both of us would consider each other good friends. I knew I loved her when we were friends and I'm thankful that she took a chance on me and we have what I would call a fantastic marraige with wonderful Children.
Obviously over time, I became to Know God and take up a huge interest in learning the Teachings of Christ. What I have learned from those teachings regarding not just my Marraige but relationships in general was an eye opener. I have time and again spoken and written about the neccessity to follow the Two Most Important Commandments in order to understand and follow the teachings. You start to understand what the route of the problems are in relationships. It's insecurity. As humans, it's natural for us to be insecure about a lot of things. When that insecurity shows itself, usually it's accompanied by actions that we regret. The Teachings help in giving you that security you need. Before the detractors mention after life, it's not about that. I'm not heading there in this post. The security is Love. When Love is the characteristic that guides you in your life with everyone, what do you have to be insecure about? People will break that unconditional trust. People will take advantage of that Love, but the Teachings already tell you that may happen, and under no circumstances are you to let selfishness and ego get in the way.
Why? Because more often than not, people will react the way you treat them. This is no different in Reltionships. Again, Atheists, Agnostics and people from all faiths have successful marraiges and relationships. What I am talking about is understanding them. And the Teachings when followed correctly gives you that understanding.
I don't know if there is such a thing as True Love, but what I do know, is that Love is True.

Presidential Debate: Round 1
Politically speaking, I believe Obama won, but not by a big margin. There were plenty of opportunities to hammer McCain on economic issues, but I feel he will save that for future debates. I am an Obama supporter, but I would have no problem pointing out a victory for McCain if that were the case. That's all I want to get into in regards to the political aspect.
Both men have expressed that they are Christians in one form or another of Institutionalized Christianity. From a Christian perspective, Obama again won, but by a huge margin. If there are any honest Christians out there, I believe they would see it the same way. However, as I've discussed prior, there are so many brainwashed "Conservative Christians", that they don't even know what to look for anyway. After all, they don't follow the Two Most Important Commandments.
McCain didn't look at Obama once. Not once! He never directed any of his comments towards him and never referred to him cordially. This debate format consisted of a lead question that both had time to address, then both would engage each other. McCain didn't engage Obama one time. He looked angry when Obama spoke, or sarcastically smiled and laughed which showed that he was very disturbed, and only laughed to avoid losing his head. His body language was one of contempt. It was a hard thing to watch as a Christian. There was no bi-partisan language or friendly tones.
Obama routinely looked directly at McCain while he was listening. And when he spoke during the exchange periods, he was always looking and addressing McCain. He called him "John" when speaking to him. He stretched out his hands and looked genuine in his body language. He pointed out what he agreed on with McCain while he was pointing out their differences. And while he was doing this, all McCain could do was look down or away. It was as if Obama didn't exist.
From a Christian and genuine openness perspective, Obama wins easily.
Maybe that's why he's owning him in the polls now.
If you put faithful Christians that follow the Teachings correctly that don't know the candidates in a room, showed them the debate, asked them to put political views aside, and choose which one showed their Christianity beliefs the most. Obama would have won unanimously.
They would have chosen the Black man with a Muslim name.

Torture
Jesus Christ was tortured. The same Jesus Christ gave us a message that stated we should love our enemies, just as we love all our neighbors. We don't agree with their actions nor should we be an accomplice. How can you sit here and say that you Love your enemies so much that you torture them? Spare me the crap that this technique is necessary to halt future attacks on our Country. That doesn't cut it. If you are a Christian, what do you have to fear? I want to know. Have you ever thought, that if you followed those two most important commandments unconditionally and without hesitation, that there might just not be any enemies at least none that would concern us?
Why do Christians support this? It all falls back to Institutionalized Religion. They don't preach what Jesus preached. They have gotten into your heads to make you fearful of others. They have made you think that by supporting this or doing this, that you are on a mission from God. That you are defending God, and sometimes, we must do things that might be considered evil in order to protect good. If this is the case, how are they or you any different than the Jihadist's we're "supposed" to fear?
Would Jesus Christ torture anyone? If the answer is no, please tell me how you can justify it? You can't justify it. Because the moment you start to, you'll realize that you're actually putting other things and circumstances ahead of God and ultimately ahead of what Christians are supposed to be taught.
We have to get out of this cycle. We have to really take a step back and look at what is being taught to us in our Churches. By their fruits you will know them.
Why are you fearful?
I'll leave you with this:
"For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." Hebrews (13:5-6)
The Lord gave you the most critical message of your learning process. His message was to help you which would give you clarity and purpose. He said to Love God and Love your Neighbors which include your enemies. If fear gets in the way of doing this, His message can never be heard correctly. Your actions will act off of this fear, and it will be opposite to what you should do.
We have to be better than this. We have to be willing to tell the people that are preaching this nonsense to us that they have it wrong. But you can't do it until you do what you were first told to do. If you did what you were first told to do, false teaching never would have sunk in, and you wouldn't have bought it. The Holy Spirit would never have let that happen. The great thing about the Teachings, is that it is never too late. You can always figure it out, and you can always redeem your faith.
Once upon a time, I was on another blog (Dinesh D'souza), and the subject was on torture. I played a devil's advocate of it to see what people said. Sadly the Atheists and Agnostics overwhelmingly were against torture while many various Christians supported it.

Are you a Conservative or a Christian?
Well, as an outsider not affiliated with either party, it's easy to see that Conservative members especially the Politicians are no more moral than liberals. It's a preached mechanism to divide. We as people are natural followers. We like to be a part of something. It is shameful that this division is preached in Churches on Sundays and people simply grow up this way.
Most Conservatives I talk to are Christian or at least call themselves this, and have been fed these lines of morality and traditional values ever since they could think on their own. It is shameful, and it goes against Christ's most precious teachings.
If you divide yourself, you are not following the Teachings.
If you make yourself part of something that demonizes other ideologies and philosophies, you are not following the Teachings.
And as previously stated, if you are not following the Teachings, you are not being a Christian. Calling yourself one doesn't make you one.
The Religions and Churches affiliated with Conservatism and preaches Conservatism are taking you away from God and the words of His Son.
Are you a Conservative or a Christian? You have to pick one, because you can't be both.
I will love thy neighbor with complete conviction. Show me examples from the Conservative movement that practices this.
Being a Conservative and a member of Institutionalized Religion in association with Conservatism is adjacent to following the Open path.

The Narrow Path
There is a specific message to future Christians in the Book Of Matthew. Jesus was asked which commandment was the most important. He didn't say that all commandments were equal. He said that the First Commandment is the most important AND a second is like it. He said that the whole law was inspired and written based off of this instruction. He didn't say ignore the other commandments, but what he did say is that practicing the two most important commandments enables you to follow the rest basically without any effort.
If you Love God with all your mind, heart and soul, and also Love your Neighbor with complete conviction, wouldn't everything else naturally fall into place? Can you even disagree with this? I get a lot of responses from other Christians during conversations such as this one, and what I find amazing is the amount of excuses I get as to why they can't practice those 2 most important commandments unconditionally and without hesitation. We're humans so we're faulty. We're not perfect. We mess up just like anyone else. We're tempted, and as Christians we're more tempted than anyone else. This is all a bunch of baloney. These aren't legitimate reasons. Do you think if Christ was standing in front of you, that he would buy this? I don't.
You don't have to be perfect to love unconditionally. These are our fellow humans. We are all brothers and sisters. We are not separated by color, status and faith. How hard is this to understand? We are faulty. We will make mistakes in our lives, and we will fail at a lot of things along the way. But we should never fail at love. That is not an option.
This is my main problem with Institutionalized Religion. For those of you that don't know what Institutionalized Religion means, let me help you out here. Any Denomination is the definition of Institutionalized. It is segregated. You follow that denomination's view and set of rules. It is man made. Not any one of them is the "True" one or "The Way". Pick up your Bible and read. There is only one way, and that way is taught to you. It is clear as day.
In the coming weeks I will be focusing on the Narrow Path, and what comes of it when followed. Every aspect of your life has a better understanding to it. The very Bible you believe in no longer is a belief, but knowledge. The younger you are in age gives you a better chance to re-program your minds from the false teaching you have absorbed from Institutionalized Religion. The sad part about this, is that Atheists and Agnostics will have an easier time understanding this in the beginning even though they might disagree.
Get away from the Open Gate, and let's start discussing the Narrow Gate.

Introduction
As with any believer of a faith, I believe that I've got it right. I believe that what I know cannot be contradicted, cannot be disputed, and if my knowledge is understood, it will eventually make a lot of sense to the reader. This will take time. This will have to be tested. We will have many debates. This experience will come down to three possibilities:
1. We remain the same no matter what.
2. You convince me that I'm wrong and show me the errors in my belief.
3. You see what I see, and you jump on board.
Until the next post,
